Established early 2013 in the Gippsland hills of Victoria, Australia, we here at Jamesco are a lifestyle label focused on producing high quality unisex shirts, custom guitar straps and good times. While keeping to our country spirit we work with denim, flannel and leather, sharing our stories from across the country and beyond with music, road trips, photography and picture film, all with a little bit of nostalgia and eclectic essence.

“As a kid, I did want to be an old-timer, since they were the ones with the big stories and the cool clothes. I wanted to go there. Now, I guess I want to bring that with me and go back in time.”
— Tom Waits

Back in 2013, three Australians took off on a once in a lifetime Road trip through America’s west landing in LA with their guitars, BMX’s, boards and finding an SUV from an unsavory part of town to kick things off in the most sketchiest way possible, it was perfect.

After that trip and many late at night conversations Jamesco, as we have come to call it was born. The following couple of years was spent predominantly in the misty old hills back in Gippsland, Victoria, where we worked from our country property just out of a small town named Foster while our friend, musician and craftsman Yeti Savage had a workshop a couple hours east of there in the bush. We spent countless freezing nights between the two locations conjuring ideas for Jamesco while listening to our favorite Blues or old thrash metal straight out of a 90’s Crusty Demon classic.

From there we created our first line of complete hand crafted leather goods including our popular “Native” belt & clothing line. Fast forward to now, we continue to focus on the highest quality hand crafted leather goods whilst adding shirts to the list and keeping to our country spirit with denim and flannel while sharing our stories from across the country with music, trips, photography and film all with a little bit of nostalgia.

Yeti Savage at home in East Gippsland with his handmade fruit bowl guitar and an original song titled "Sweet Is Summer Rain" written about past and present bushfire experiences. This was recorded after we had our first major summer rain after the devastating bushfires that plagued Australia earlier in the year (2020) including East Gippsland.
